WEEK NO. 13

“I came, I saw, I conquered”
My Accomplishment 
I consider
preparing my instructional material which is a PowerPoint presentation as my accomplishment
for this week. It is also an opportunity
for me to share my skills in making the PowerPoint presentation useful for
learning essay, poems, and spelling.
Moreover, I was observed my critique
teacher in the laboratory high school. It was a challenged for me to handle the
1 section of 2nd years since I handle 4th years in the public
school and I need to adjust .i was quite shocked about the behaviors of
students in the private school though I am aware of it. It was very challenging
in my part to think on effective strategies as well as activities that I need
to prepare which will be very effective to the level of my diverse type of
learners. But fortunately I noticed that most of my students are active when I
used different strategies to motivate them participate during my discussion one
of that material is using a die to call for students who will answer.
My Significant Experience
My significant experience for this week
was to be able to observe my students in the laboratory high school as well as to
be observed by my critique teacher. At some point, this week gave me a lot of
realizations since this week were full of requirements that need to be done. Moreover,
I am very excited to teach 2nd year students in the private school
and that expectation s turned into reality the moment I had my first rated demonstration
with my critiques teacher.
My Insights 
This week gave me a lot of
realizations. I came from a private school before but I was quite nervous what
would be the life waiting for me in the laboratory high school. Most of them
are listening and mindful about the next thing that I will do. I realized that
I really need to do advance reading before entering the classroom and a lot of
reference to be studied. I gave the title I CAME I SAW AND I CONQUERED as my
title for this week since I realized that this will be the weeks and months of
staying in private school and I really need to deliver my lessons in such a way
that my students will not be bored and will enjoy every hour of their life
being with me playing the role of a student teacher.
The problem that I encountered this
week is classroom management. I was quite difficult for me to manage their
noise since it was my first time to enter their class but I will think of the
best strategy which will be very effective to them.
My Solution 
I asked for some strategies that my
critique teacher used all the time and I will try to imitate and integrate it
in my class in a unique way.
Goals for next week
I will immediately approach my
critique teacher and ask for a lesson to teach. Since, I know that I do not
have enough time given to be able to finish 10 lesson plans with execution so I
need to teach every other day. I still need to teach 9 lessons to be rated by
my critique teacher.
