My Accomplishment

            I consider preparing my instructional materials for my beloved critique teacher as my accomplishment for this week. At first, I find it difficult to prepare since I was given a very limited time to finish her IM.

Moreover, I had my 5 rated demonstration for this week observed by my critique teacher It was a challenged for me on what effective strategies as well as activities that I need to prepare which will be very effective to the level of my diverse type of learners since my topics for this week was very difficult and challenging.

This week for me is the most unforgettable moment when I prepared activities which will make my students remembers me all throughout their journey as a student.

My Significant Experience 

            My significant experience for this week was to be able to execute 5 rated demonstrations with my critique teacher in which I was able to manage the classroom when it comes to their noise. At some point, this week gave me a lot of realizations since this week were full of requirements that need to be done. I was so tired completing the requirements in school so I asked a favor from my critique teacher not to teach for just one day since she asked me to do a pocket chart for her and I cannot manage to prepare my lesson for tomorrow and she said, yes. It was also my third time to enter to one section (VALOR) which turned out to be a significant experience for me since my students from that section really needs special attention fortunately I had fun teaching them and I was able to face my fear and that is to enter in their section so this is really a significant experience for me.

My Insights 

            This week gave me a lot of realizations. I realized that I really need to read books related to my field of specialization for me to be able to give more examples for my students. Since, they really need more examples before they can understand the lesson. Patience and understanding are the two important characteristics that I need to have, since teaching is not really an easy profession. I encouraged myself by means of thinking positively and by saying “Everything’s going to be alright.

My Problem 

             The problem that I encountered this week is time management. I have a hard time in managing my time in preparing all the requirements needed in school.

My Solution

               I solved my problem by means of setting my goals and priorities using a planner.

Goals for next week 

     I will immediately approach my critique teacher and ask for a lesson to teach. Since, I know that I do not have enough time given to be able to finish 30 lesson plans with execution until the 24th of October so I need to teach every day. I still need to teach 8 lessons to be rated by my critique teacher before their examination and semestral break.
