WEEK NO. 11
October 20-24, 2014
“2 teach + 2 touch a life = 4 ever”
My Accomplishment 
I consider preparing my instructional materials and lessons as my accomplishment for this week. It is also an opportunity for me to share my talent in preparing instructional materials for this week.
Moreover, I had my last 4 rated demonstrations for this week observed by my critique teacher. It was a challenged for me to handle the 4 sections of the 4th years regular since my critique teacher will not be around. It was very challenging in my part to think on effective strategies as well as activities that I need to prepare which will be very effective to the level of my diverse type of learners. However, to experience straight teaching almost everyday and spending my last week in every section I handle is an opportunity for me to be able to know and spend time with them for at least an hour a day.
It is also an accomplishment for me to be able to know how my students loved me dearly because of everything that they had prepared for me during my last day in their school. I really felt their love, care, appreciation, and most specially their sincere heartfelt thank you for everything that I sacrificed for them.
This week for me is the most unforgettable moment when I was able to teach for the whole day and it was very overwhelming that despite of the feeling of being tired I still managed to teach and maintain my enthusiasm in teaching until the last period and we had fun. This week enable me to realize that indeed becoming a teacher is not an easy profession.
My Significant Experience
My significant experience for this week was to be able to execute 4 rated demonstrations with my critique teacher. At some point, this week gave me a lot of realizations since this week were full of requirements that need to be done. My significant experience for this week was to be able to know how much my students loved, cared, and appreciated me because of the programs, cards, gifts, notes, flowers that they give to me during my last day in their school. I really felt the happiness of being a teacher the moment each of my students had their speech in front containing their simple, short messages but heartwarming because most of them cried and don't want me to go to my next class or they don't want me to leave their school. we took pictures as a sign of remembrance as well as I shared words of wisdom for all of them as I say thank you to all of them while crying. IV PEACE where I had my rated demonstration which turned out to be the best section ever was full of emotions since most of them were crying also with the guys. I was quite shocked because I never expected that they will appreciate me that much. It is indeed fun and overwhelming because they cannot express their heartfelt gratitude with the short span of time. They prepared a power point presentation, a background music, a short program for me after they give their messages they sang the song entitle SALAMAT. They also prepared a big heart-shaped with notes inside as a sign of their heartfelt gratitude for coming in their life. i cannot express my emotions inside me because of everything that they have done for me. I will never forget them for the rest of my life. They gave their messages while majority of them were crying so hard.
Moreover, IV VALOR which turned out to be one of the extension class that I handle turns out to be one of the sweetest section ever I was shocked when they prepared a short presentation singing the song entitled THANKS TO YOU. They also gave me notes containing their messages as well as they gave me flowers in the library after their class. I was like so special in their life as they gave me cards full of messages straight from their heart. I cannot express my emotions after entering their class.
It is also a heartwarming experience when I entered IV UNDERSTANDING they left the classroom and i entered in their class and I have no students present there. I was surprised when all of them entered the room carrying gifts, cards, and notes while they sing the song THANKS TO YOU. They were all sweet most specially my student with Disability wrote in his notebook using a marker MA'AM BEA you are my HERO. I cried because I thought he did not noticed my sacrifices but fortunately he did I was so touched I was just like floating in the air I cried again because of there messages and thank yous from the bottom of their hearts. They also gave their short messages as I sang the song THANKS TO YOU. In this section they call me Queen Elsa of FROZEN because of my hairstyle and because I sang the song LET IT GO once.
It was quite disappointing that my IV SINCERITY class did not even bother to say thank you maybe because they were all busy for their presentation. But it's okay since I only spent 2 weeks with them then my next demonstration was not for consecutive days but that part of life.
My Insights 
This week gave me a lot of realizations. I realized that if you tell God no because he won't explain the reason he wants you to do something, you are actually hindering his blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things he is teaching us in our spirit. The thing I loved the most - and still love the most about teaching - is that you can connect with an individual or a group, and see that individual or group exceed their limits. I think the teaching profession contributes more to the future of our society than any other single profession. I realized that during my last day in the public school BCNHS.
My Problem
I never encountered any problem this week.
My Solutions 
I did not solved any problem this week since I did not encounter such.
Goals for next week
I will immediately approach my critique teacher in SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY LABORATORY HIGH SCHOOL and ask for a lesson to teach. Since, I know that I do not have enough time given to be able to finish 10 lesson plans with execution because it is very difficult to get lessons in the LABORATORY HIGH SCHOOL.
